The Accton Smart Automated Optical Inspection solution will utilize the Blaize Pathfinder P1600 Embedded System on Module to add visual AI production line inspection for assembly, manufacturing, packaging, and appearance activities.

NVIDIA and Dell Technologies will deliver a new data center solution designed for the AI era, with AI training, AI interference, data science and zero-trust security capabilities available to enterprises globally.

In other AI news, Nokia has deployed its Artificial Intelligence Radio Frequency capacity planning software for NTT DOCOMO to help the Japanese operator efficiently roll out its 5G network and to speed up radio frequency planning.

In quantum computing news, QphoX and IQM Quantum Computers will collaborate to develop a next-generation optical interface for scaling quantum computers. Quantum Computing Inc. launched a subscription service that provides enterprises with access to its industry-leading Dirac 1 Entropy Quantum Computing (EQC) system. Dirac 1 takes a different computational approach to existing quantum computing providers and can solve business problems with over 5,000 variables.

Security news

As 5G networks and cloud computing become increasingly intertwined, 5G security continues to progress with new technical features to face the expanded attack surfaces from both internal and external threats. 5G Americas’ newest paper addresses security threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigations for deployments of 5G cloud infrastructures as new services and use cases are developed.

With hybrid work now the norm, the risk of SaaS misconfiguration poses a serious security threat to businesses. Palo Alto Networks announced new innovations in Prisma SASE that enable customers to identify and remediate misconfigurations in SaaS apps using SaaS Security Posture Management capabilities.

Radware released new research in a report, Application Security in a Multi-Cloud World, revealing that organizations continue to struggle to achieve consistent, high quality application security across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

To counter DDoS threats, Neustar Security Services has expanded its distributed-denial-of-service attack mitigation scrubbing capacity to more than 15 terabits per second across its network. Neustar and Transaction Network Services have also forged a strategic partnership for trusted call services, to enable enterprises to vet and authenticate calls to consumers nationwide, including both mobile and landlines.
