Pipeline Publishing, L.L.C. ("Pipeline," "we," "us," or "our") operates Pipeline websites, publications, newsletters, events, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and disclose it, and the choices available to you.
Information We Collect
We may collect information you provide when you subscribe, register, download content, attend a webinar, complete a form or survey, make a purchase, contact us, or otherwise use the Services. This may include your name, contact information, company, industry, job title, mailing and billing addresses, telephone number, subscription preferences, professional interests, event or content activity, communications, and professional-profile information you provide.
When you visit or interact with our Services or emails, we and our service providers may automatically collect your IP address, browser and device information, approximate location derived from your IP address, referring and exit pages, pages viewed, links clicked, visit dates and times, advertisement impressions and interactions, email opens and clicks, and cookie, device, or similar identifiers.
Information from Other Sources
We may supplement information you provide with professional or company information from publicly available sources, company websites, professional social networks, event partners, clients, and service providers. Where required, we will provide notice or request consent before doing so. After disclosure, the sponsor's or client's privacy policy governs its independent use of the information.
We may also disclose information to comply with law or legal process; protect Pipeline, our users, clients, or the public; investigate fraud, security incidents, or wrongdoing; enforce agreements; or establish or defend legal claims. Information may be transferred as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, restructuring, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of our business or assets.
Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising
Some privacy laws define "sale," "sharing," or "targeted advertising" broadly. Certain disclosures involving advertising technology or sponsors may fall within those definitions even when no money is exchanged for personal information. Where applicable, you may request to opt out through our cookie or privacy settings or by contacting us below. We will process legally recognized browser-based opt-out preference signals where required. Pipeline does not knowingly sell personal information in the traditional sense of exchanging it solely for money.
Ecommerce and Payment-Card Information
Payment-card information submitted through our online payment forms is transmitted to our payment processor using appropriate safeguards. Pipeline does not intentionally store complete online payment-card numbers. Do not send payment-card information through ordinary email or other unsecured communication methods.
Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing the Services, maintaining business and transaction records, complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing agreements. Retention periods vary depending on the information, our relationship with you, and applicable legal requirements.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system or transmission method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Privacy Rights

You may unsubscribe from marketing email using the unsubscribe link in the message. We may continue to send non-promotional messages relating to transactions, accounts, security, or legal notices.
International Data Transfers
Pipeline and its service providers may process information in the United States and other jurisdictions whose data-protection laws may differ from those where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
Children's Privacy
The Services are intended for a professional and general audience and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 or use Google advertising products to personalize advertisements based on the activities of users known to be under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will post the revised policy and update its effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request renewed consent.
