IDM gives the operator visibility into the network performance and associated costs to users both internal and external to the enterprise. It also provides customers the transparency and tools they demand to improve customer retention and the operator’s profitability.

IDM processes huge amounts of network performance data and correlates them to inventory and service assurance information in order to provide valuable metrics and service level targets. IDM then ingests and structures data to develop a personalized view for each user. Leveraging the inherent functionality of IDM, Apptium gave the operator the ability to create and maintain individual data records and generate comprehensive reporting outputs.

In addition, IDM provides user-defined hierarchies, security and privileges automatically performs cost allocation and report distribution through a configurable workflow administration function to simplify the management of IDM and ensure the right controls and permissions are in place to meet the operator’s requirements.

Apptium’s IDM also provides a highly configurable report management system which provides snapshots, versioning, data management and ability to export in various formats including feature rich excel and PDF. This enables the operator to control the data, provide multiple ad-hoc analyses, and leverage the data across the organization.
