Digital transformation news

In tech industry digital transformation news, AGT Networks is partnering with Ribbon to offer a comprehensive range of innovative, business-oriented options for companies in Latin America looking to accelerate their digital transformation. Telecom Egypt is working with IBM to adopt intelligent automation technologies to implement an umbrella solution for all its operations support systems on mobile, fixed, and core networks.

Cisco and NTT will collaborate to drive Private 5G adoption across the automotive, logistics, healthcare, retail, and public sectors. The companies plan to jointly bring to market the technology and managed services that will enable enterprise customers to deploy Private 5G successfully and achieve better business outcomes.

A new CGI and Sodexo partnership will enable Sodexo to accelerate its business transformation in key domains while increasing its efficiencies at a global level. Tech Mahindra announced a partnership with StarHub to modernize its IT operations for consumer-facing systems and processes to improve business outcomes and customer experience.

Elisa and Wind River have built Europe’s first distributed and fully automated edge cloud for 5G, which will be one of the first in the world. Elisa and Wind River have started to roll out a 5G distributed core platform, an effort that can further help spark other large-scale 5G launches and spearhead the next wave of digital transformation across Europe.

Accenture has teamed with TELUS in the development of TELUS’ next-generation entertainment and personalized digital life platform. Together, the companies are transforming TELUS’ television business into a more efficient, agile, and digital skilled organization. NeutraDC, a direct subsidiary of Telkom Indonesia, PT Telkom Data Ekosistem, entered a memorandum of understanding with NAVER Cloud and Cisco to accelerate the digital transformation of businesses in Indonesia by providing them with advanced cloud solutions and services.

Innovation news

In innovation news, T-Systems now can provide its customers with cloud access to IBM’s quantum systems, including multiple quantum computers powered by the 127-qubit IBM Eagle processor. Quantum computing aims to enable calculations that are beyond the means of even the world’s most advanced classical supercomputers.

General Motors has selected Adobe Experience Cloud to deliver one-to-one personalized interactions at scale for millions of its electric vehicle customers. NTT Communications Corporation, Toei Company and NTT QONOQ have launched a customer-service demonstration using a digital human to communicate with people. The results will be used to determine the possibility of using digital humans as new points of contact for commercial services.

Lindsay Broadband has launched a UL/CSA/CE certified, safe, HFC network, lithium iron phosphate LEON (Lindsay Ever On Networks) broadband battery. It can be paired with Lindsay’s LBUPS series or compatible competitive network standby power supplies for efficient, reliable power for uninterrupted delivery of services for all applications, even in extreme environments.

NVIDIA launched NVIDIA DGX Cloud, an AI supercomputing service that gives enterprises immediate access to the infrastructure and software needed to train advanced models for generative AI and other ground-breaking applications. In a similar move, NVIDIA has collaborated with Microsoft to provide hundreds of millions of Microsoft enterprise users with access to powerful industrial metaverse and AI supercomputing resources via the cloud.

Cleveland Clinic and IBM officially unveiled the first deployment of an on-site private sector IBM-managed quantum computer in the United States. The IBM Quantum System One installed at Cleveland Clinic will be the first quantum computer in the world to be uniquely dedicated to healthcare research with an aim to help Cleveland Clinic accelerate biomedical discoveries.
