U.S. Army Taps Pega for Modernization of Mission and Business OperationsU.S. Army Awards Pega 10-Year Enterprise Contract to Accelerate Business ModernizationEnterprise agreement provides a streamlined path to modernize critical mission and business operations with Pega’s AI-powered solutionsPegasystems Inc. announced that the U.S. Army has awarded Pega a 10-year Enterprise Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a $419 million ceiling to support the modernization of mission and business operations. The agreement gives authorized Army and Department of War organizations streamlined access to Pega products and services to update critical processes, simplify operations, and support mission objectives. The U.S. Army’s current technology environment spans logistics, personnel, readiness, acquisition, financial management, and other critical functions. Legacy systems, disconnected workflows, and manual processes can increase administrative burden and slow modernization. This new partnership with Pega will help the Army better connect systems and workflows, reduce rework, and respond more efficiently to evolving needs. Under the contract, the Army can access Pega solutions, Pega Cloud for Government hosting, technical support, and professional services. This will help the Army adapt faster, reuse capabilities across applications, and simplify acquisition processes while reducing duplication. The agreement also supports consolidating and expanding existing deployments, cloud migration, and application development. “Modernizing technology across an organization as large and complex as the U.S. Army requires a practical path forward, not another disruptive rip-and-replace program,” said Doug Averill, vice president and global industry market leader, Pega. “This new contract gives the Army a more direct way to access Pega technology and services, build on existing investments, and modernize important workflows at the speed their organization requires.” Source: Pega media announcement | |
