The latest firmware release for the VSE-1100 offers new test features to simplify testing in the headend and in the field, enabling quicker alignment and troubleshooting:

• Total Integrated Power – Headend techs need to validate the power level into the laser to avoid overdriving the circuits. Total integrated power includes power contributed by all network carriers, and measurements can be compared directly with total power limit specifications.
• Test Point Compensation – This feature compensates for losses from test points and/or probes to enable simpler measurement without manual calculations.
• Noise Trace – Tracks the noise signature on the HyperSpectrum persistence heatmap, improving visibility underneath active QAM signals
