TELEHOUSE America and Atlantic Metro Extend Strategic Alliance
TELEHOUSE America announced the expansion of its partner alliance with Atlantic Metro.  Atlantic Metro has completed recent acquisitions that have increased their domestic data center footprint as well as provided private, hybrid and public cloud solutions. This expansion will enable TELEHOUSE America to promote these managed infrastructure solutions, including SD-WAN, VMs, Object Storage and other offerings into new markets.

“We are thrilled to be extending our partnership with Atlantic Metro, with their recent expansion of data centers and networks on both East and West Coasts, including Northern Virginia, Dallas, Miami, Silicon Valley, Los Angeles, New York, and New Jersey,” says Richard Levine, Director of Sales and Marketing, TELEHOUSE America.  “Northern Virginia and Dallas will continue to be strategic hubs for us and our customer base here in New York.”

The strategic alliance with Atlantic Metro will allow TELEHOUSE America to provide its colocation customers with additional IaaS services, including:

  • Flexible, scalable, and cost-effective hybrid cloud options from bare-metal servers, object storage, and virtualized private data centers.
  • A variety of Disaster Recovery solutions for redundancy and sustainability.
  • 24/7/365 systems and network monitoring support to deliver round-the-clock management of network and server infrastructure, providing a more comprehensive service for colocated clients.

“The demand for cloud hosting and additional IT managed services require that we supplement our own portfolio and extend our partner alliance resources to our customers here in the U.S.,” states Richard Levine, Director of Sales and Marketing, TELEHOUSE America.  “It is important to work with a partner who can offer our customers value, flexibility and a variety of options.”

Atlantic Metro also provides its customers with access to the New York International Internet Exchange (NYIIX), owned and operated by TELEHOUSE, and one of the largest public peering exchanges in the Northeast. NYIIX provides a low-cost alternative to IP Transit from eight different locations on the East Coast.  NYIIX and Extreme Networks have upgraded the Centillion Platform to accommodate increased demand for 100G ports.
