Blaize and Lei Shen Intelligence sign strategic cooperation agreement for integration of rider function and AI function

Focus on integrating rider and AI functions for autonomous operations applications in the automotive and smart city markets

Blaize announced that it has signed a strategic partnership agreement with LeiShen, a leader in rider solutions. The agreement will work closely to integrate rider and AI capabilities in intelligence applications for autonomous driving in China's broad automotive and smart city markets. As part of this agreement, Blaize and LeiShen will combine LeiShen's rider technology with the AI processing of the Blaize Pathfinder P1600 SOM embedded AI accelerator to develop a sensor fusion solution.

Hu Xiaobo, founder and CEO of LeiShen, said: "LeiShen strives to make driving safer, robots smarter and better lives with advanced, stable and reliable rider sensing technology. By working with Blaize. Not only will customers be able to use their riders more effectively, but they will also be able to enable safer, more reliable and powerful intelligent sensing applications for autonomous driving and smart city projects. "

Blaize co-founder and CEO Dinaka Munagara said: "Innovative and intelligent rider sensing technology in the LeiShen, our Graph Streaming Processor (GSP) combination of Blaize products based on the architecture is ideal in order to achieve a more secure and reliable autonomous operation We look forward to working with LeiShen to provide more optimized, efficient and economical solutions on the market for electrification, vehicle safety, infotainment and other intelligence applications. "

Blaize's GSP architecture allows multiple neural networks and entire workflows to run simultaneously on a single system. Therefore, by integrating non-neural network functions such as image signal processing and lidar with neural network functions, it is possible to build unique end-to-end applications.

LeiShen has outstanding strengths in rider research and development. LeiShen is the only rider company to simultaneously study the four ranging principles of time of flight, triangulation, phase shift and FMCW, and has independently developed a 1550nm fiber laser and its core components. In April 2021, LeiShen announced the world's second hybrid solid-state rider and the first officially certified Up to CH32 under Chinese vehicle regulations. In addition, Lei Shen attracted attention with the announcement of the 128-wire vehicle gauge hybrid solid-state rider ch128x1.

Blaize and Lei Shen will jointly promote autonomous driving projects and smart city projects that utilize rider technology. Integrating the Blaize Pathfinder P1600 AI accelerator with LeiShen's advanced automotive grade riders will enable more efficient processing of rider point cloud data and related algorithms. Built-in optimized sensor fusion algorithms allow riders to output target data results directly, providing a powerful sensor fusion solution for autonomous driving and smart city projects.
