American Tower Announces New Tenant-Ready Edge Data Center in Austin, Texas

New American Tower Edge Data Center in Austin maximizes flexibility and efficiency for customer deployments

American Tower Corporation (NYSE: AMT) announces today the launch of American Tower Edge Data Centers’ newest tenant-ready facility in Austin, Texas. Officially launched in 2020, American Tower Edge Data Centers offer customers an alternative location to centralized metro data centers and are strategically located on the network edge. The 360-square-foot, 100 KW facility offers eight customer cabinets, comprising 20 quarter-cabinet lockers and three full cabinets. The connectivity enabled, multitenant, neutral-host edge data center, strategically located in the high-tech hub of Austin, maximizes flexibility and provides a secure and reliable hosting environment for customers’ stringent IT requirements.
