AT&T Blends Communication Technologies with Enhanced Mobile Offering

Collaboration Solution Elevates Brand Image for Customers and Improves User Experience for Employees

Thanks to AT&T CollaborateTM – Enhanced Mobile, businesses can now provide a superior experience to customers by having a unified voice presence – no matter if employees are in the office or on-the-go.

Businesses can now improve customer service, brand image and employee productivity with AT&T Collaborate – Enhanced Mobile. It solves common problems like missing an important call, customers calling multiple numbers and calls routing to the wrong person or department. IDC forecasts mobile workers will account for 72.3% of the total U.S. workforce by 2020.[1] Now, employees can use their cell phones like their office phone – providing a better customer experience – and can have an integrated voicemail box for efficiency and improved reachability.

“For businesses with a mobile workforce, managing different phone lines, voicemail boxes and simply staying in touch with their customers and each other can be time consuming,” said Roman Pacewicz, chief product officer, AT&T Business. “AT&T Collaborate – Enhanced Mobile blurs the line between fixed and mobile networks. It’s a cost-effective solution for businesses to elevate their brand with their customers while simplifying communication for its employees – all across AT&T’s highly secure network.”

Employees have desk phone capabilities on their business mobile phone via a network-based native dialing experience. Native dialing means that you don’t have to download an app to speak with someone using AT&T Collaborate – Enhanced Mobile. Calls are also placed over the VoLTE network, which gives a higher Quality of Service (QoS) and does not use data.

Additional benefits include:

  • Simultaneous and sequential ring options let you keep calls from going straight to voicemail when you need to catch important incoming calls
  • Business Auto Attendant is a voice response service that routes calls where you need them to go
  • Caller ID keeps your employees’ information from appearing by displaying company information
  • An easy-to-use web portal lets you configure and control features such as voicemail and corporate directories.

Blending the fixed and wireless networks is especially important for small businesses, who are thriving. They provide nearly half of all jobs in the U.S.[2], and AT&T technology is helping them maintain their competitive edge. By bringing a new way to think about connectivity, we’re creating new experiences and helping them – and all businesses – transform in a digital age. We’re here to offer solutions and expertise to keep them connected and agile today, while prepared for growth tomorrow.
