AT&T Fiber Brings Ultra-Fast Internet Speeds to New Metro Areas

Ultra-Fast Internet Speeds Powered by AT&T Fiber Available in 4 New Metro Areas

AT&T announced improvements in connectivity with its ultra-fast internet service, which is now available in 4 additional metro areas - Columbus, Ga., Lafayette, La., Montgomery, Ala. and Macon, Ga.1

AT&T market its 100% fiber network powered by AT&T* Fiber to over 6 million locations across 61 metros, and plans to reach at least 7 million locations by the end of 2017.  AT&T has further plans to reach at least 12.5 million locations by mid-2019.

An ultra-fast internet connection powered by AT&T Fiber lets consumers quickly access and stream online movies, music and games, and boasts benefits for telecommuting, video-conferences, uploading and downloading photos and videos, and connecting faster to the cloud.

AT&T's 100% fiber network is designed to deliver the same speeds up and down and offers a range of plans to consumers in these locations.

Frost & Sullivan recognized AT&T for its leadership in high-speed internet services. AT&T won the 2016 Company of the Year Award for Broadband Access.
